The time has come!!! Jabez Productions is very, very happy to announce that the filming for "The Awakening" movie project will begin this spring!!! The movie production will be broken down into two phases. The movie scenes concerning the time before the flood will be filmed first, since they are the least expensive scenes to shoot and yet can serve as a complete film independent of the other scenes in the movie. If necessary, the footage from phase one will be marketed to a television station and/or investors to provide the remaining funds needed to film the other scenes in "The Awakening" movie project, unless God provides the funds through other means and if this occurs, then all of the movie will be filmed together this spring!!! I would like to thank everyone who has supported Phase 2 of "The Awakening" movie campaign in any way, whether through your prayers, sharing or through your financial contributions. God has really blessed this campaign and we praise Him for all His blessings!!! From Phase 2 we received $3,334.00 and over $200,000 in free Hollywood level services!!! This month the first episode of "The Awakening" radio show has been aired on The Women's Radio network since its merger with The Beasley corporation, I-Heart radio and Tuneln and their joint radio audiences of from 30 to 50 million people. The winners have been announced for "The Awakening" movie T-Shirt and Music competitions. All of the songs entered into the competition are being considered for the movie soundtrack and the T-Shirt designs from the T-Shirt competition will be featured on T-Shirts that will be for sale beginning this week. Although all funds are not yet on hand for the movie and it has therefore not yet been made, God has already been causing a worldwide "awakening". This past winter break Jabez Productions hired five college interns and God used them to comment and post as they prayed and read the two books from the "Awakening" series that we market, the Song of Eve and Now. It was an explosive and amazing few weeks and if you missed it, the testimonies of the interns are posted on the Jabez Jabez Facebook page. The interns were also used by God to sell those books and we collectively sold over 100 books during that brief time period and we have been hearing amazing testimonies from people who are reading those books and sharing them with their family members and friends!!! More good news is on the horizon, but you will have to stay tuned for that testimony that God is still working out!!! The judge's have reached their decision!!! Jabez Production and Management Company would like to thank all those who participated in or otherwise supported "The Awakening" music competition. Congratulations goes out to Durrelle Young!!! He is the first place winner of the Jabez Productions T-Shirt competition and will receive a check for $100.00 today!!! Jabez Productions is looking for marketing and/or communications majors who are in need of an internship or externship from now until the end of this year. You will be assisting with all phases of pre-production marketing and communications for, "The Awakening", film project. You can assist us at our local office or from your state, country and place of residence. We are looking for interns/externs who have experience in the majors stated above and are skilled in speaking and writing English. " The Awakening"
Prior to graduating from divinity school, Valerie Johnson lived a charmed and sheltered life. Every detail of Valerie's future was well thought out and planned. Growing up in a family of Pastors, Valerie's dream was to become a minister in her father's church. On the day of her graduation her dreams are shattered once her father admits that he does not want her to be a minister in his church because he doesn't believe that women should lead ministries. Heartbroken by her father's decision, Valerie accepts an offer from her Uncle, Pastor James Shannon, to be a part of his congregation. Valerie soon finds out the true intention behind her Uncle's invitation when he asks her to be a mentor to troubled teenagers for his church's youth ministry program.
The four teenagers in the youth ministry program (Michael, Michelle, Tracy and Jimmy) all come from different walks of life but share similar stories of abuse and neglect. Valerie is intimidated by this and is initially reluctant to mentor these kids. She fears that she has nothing in common with them and will not be able to have a lasting impact in their lives. With the help from Charles Graham, her co-mentor, she slowly opens up and begins to form close relationships with all of the teenagers in the program. But, Valerie's faith in herself and God is once again put to the test when she learns that one of her mentees is being charged for a malicious crime and faces time in prison. Valerie now has to find a way to bring her mentees together and helps strengthen their trust in God during a difficult and confusing time in their lives. She eventually gains wisdom from an inspirational book called Song of Eve and uses its stories to pass along knowledge to her mentees. The lessons shared from this book not only help Valerie's mentees build a stronger relationship with God but it helps Valerie accept her new purpose in life.

God has spoken!!! The first movie in the Song of Eve movie project, which is currently untitled, will be filmed in Ocala, Marion County Florida!!! This movie, which will be based on your life's purpose, one of the themes from the Song of Eve and will also serve as a spotlight on the criminal justice system in the United States, is currently being scripted by Shandra McDonald who is the owner of Kiss the Limit Productions, which makes movies that are life-changing.
